Founded in 1996 Northern Filmmakers (Norfilms) we are an independent British film and television production company based in the North of England that exists to: "Nurture the talent and potential of new and young independent filmmakers" in their dreams and ambitions; to bring about professional, commercial film production; to encourage new generations for media storytellers; and to get rich, with financially viable, profitable, investment opportunities for anyone who wants to share in these ambitions.

Norfilms is an entertainment business in the film and television industry.
So, if you are a film "Artist" go and work for British Television.
We aim to entertain the world.

Founder

The company was founded by Michael Bond, 40+ year old writer and producer, initially as a part-time activity between work in business consultantcy, financial management and the start-up of another company for international finance.

Michael had developed and written a number of scripts including successful negotiation of development rights to "ARG!" a major adventure film from the BBC.

Issues

Of course it's risky working with new but good talent, so we aim to do it on tighter, but still effective, budgets, developing new work with tightly-written economical and exciting film scripts from talented writers.

We aim that each story is selected for its entertainment value at low production costs - no helicopter chases, but who needs them in a psychological thriller?

On television we are also planning new productions: TV documentary, drama, comedy and science fiction work, based on new and well-established talents.
